I got this bowl for my little baby girl, and her brother got the other one I reviewed, this is just too cute for words. My kids are 20months apart, so the mess is a constant problem, feeding time used to be stressful,but now it is a breeze, I can spend time with my cherubs, and less time picking macaroni off the kitchen floor! This stays put well on a clean plastic surface (ideal for high chair). I also used it on the table and it worked too. Also makes a beautiful and elegant gift. Twenty dollars is a bargain for this great product. We make frequent road trips with our 4-year-old daughter, who is afraid of the automatic flush toilets at most highway rest stops. This potty replaces a Baby Bjorn potty chair, really meant for indoor use, that took up valuable trunk space and required either myself or my husband to find a discreet location to dump out the pee. The way I see it, here are the best features of this product:
-compact and discreet: you could take this potty just about anywhere with its tasteful carrying case slung over your shoulder without anyone being the wiser. Also, it takes up very little trunk space.
-no expensive or hard-to-find refills to buy: simply keep the bag stocked with 4 gallon trash bags and some disposable nursing pads that can be purchased at any supermarket.
-bag has lots of handy pockets for storing bags and absorbent pads, plus extra room for a package of tissues and some hand sanitizer.
-my daughter loves it and even wants to use it in the house!
If there are any drawbacks to this product, I haven't found them yet! I would have paid twice as much!

Enjoyable and Fun Taste of America!
Every once in a while, I like to buy a CD of a composer I'm not familiar with (and with NAXOS's low prices, why not?). When I got home and listened to this one, once wasn't enough. I listened twice through. This CD is real fun!!

In his day, Gottschalk was called "the Chopin of Creoles." Most of his writing was for the piano and this CD is generally short piano pieces arranged for orchestra. The music mixes strong folk melodies and New Orleans Creole inspired syncopation with the European Classical tradition- the result being a distinctly american divertimenti.

The music as a whole is very motif oriented with a touch of variation and some interesting arrangement twists. While and orchestral CD, the piano gets a lot of attention, giving us some nice interplay between the two.

The only complaint I have is that the CD was recorded at a music festival where professional musicians are playing side by side with selected 'pre-professionals.' I'm not a snob and normally it wouldn't bother me, but Gottschalk's unusual syncopation tends to be unprofessionally slopppy at times. Fortunately, any mistakes are in the supporting insturments. No star shall be subtracted because NAXOS has done such a great job giving us a quality CD at a good price.

My favorite baby product, hands-down
I love my hotslings and always keep one in the car. They don't take much space, they are light and fold nicely. You can even use the; as blankets or as nursing covers. This khaki one is stretchy and really soft. The color goes with everything and my baby loves it.
