Current Craze in Our Elementary School
These duckies are currently popular in our elementary school for trading among students. This duckie, however, is about 4X larger than those typically traded. Still, our 3rd grader loves it, and will continue to while the craze lasts.

Very entertaining to my infant!!
I have a 5 week old son that has been loving this playmat since he was about 1 week old. I can lay him down or prop him up with a boppy under it and he is entertained for about 20-30 minutes. He likes to watch the mobile and lights and look at himself in the mirror. The music is great and keeps him entertained because after each song, there is a pause, and then a noise is made to capture his attention again before the next song begins. My baby enjoys this just as much, if not more, than his papasan swing. Great purchase!
UPDATE: My son is now 9 weeks old and I would like to add that he still LOVES this toy. We did purchase the Tiny Love Baby Wind Chimes kick toy for about $10 for him to kick because he seemed to really want to do that and clipped it on and he loves it even more. This is a great playmat!! He now kicks and kicks and looks at himself in the mirror as he does it and has started grasping for the toys on the sides as well. Highly recommend!

Should be recalled!!
This product should be recalled - I filed a complaint with the consumer protection agency. It's sold based on the premise of reducing SIDS by using it as a blanket.

My husband and I were horrified to check on our child in the middle of the night (our movement sensor alarm went off because he had stopped breathing!!) to see all this material bunched up tightly around his throat and face!!! I was angry, and felt guilty for trusting the claims of this product. (I've now seen several reviewers say the same thing about other colors/sizes of this same product).

I loved the idea of this combo sleepsack/swaddle and we had been using SwaddleMe wraps with no problem (except that our baby would sometimes breakout of them).

I put our child in the sleepsack/swaddle a second time so I could watch (supervised) how the material ended up bunched up around his face. The swaddle part velcroes tightly to the back of the sleepsack. Then, you wrap the arms around the baby and velcro the arms to each other.

Even with a tight swaddle, and with the swaddle arms velcroed as low as they will go on the back of the sleepsack... if the child bends their legs up at all, their fingers can start to feel the bottom of the swaddle arms. Then, the baby can work their fingers and arms out from the bottom of the swaddle arms. The result is that the swaddle part bunches up around their neck and face extremely tightly, because it is still secured tightly to the back of the sleepsack with a large chunk of velcro and a tab at the back of the sleepsack.

There is nothing to keep the front of the swaddle arms attached securely and safely down on the front of the sleepsack.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
HALO: should recall the current sleepsack/swaddlers and add velcro and/or snaps and tabs on the front of the swaddle arms to attach it to the sleepsack to keep it in place.

PARENTS should use the "Swaddle Me" blankets instead for a safer swaddle option. There is less material, and the baby's legs pull down on the swaddle, so it keeps any loose material away from baby's face if the baby manages to break out. (With this HALO sleepsack/swaddle, the baby's legs don't help pull down on the swaddle arms).

Doesn't Leak, Easy to Clean
When I first saw this, I was sure that it would leak, but it just seemed like such an innovative idea that I bought one anyway. The bottle is incredibly easy to clean because both ends can be removed.

I unscrewed the nipple ring and the bottom of the bottle. I was so sure that it would leak if I put anything liquid in it. I filled the bottle full of water and tossed it around on a white sheet to see if it leaked. It didn't, but I still wasn't sure. So, I washed the bottle in hot water. I've noticed that some bottles leak after being washed. Then, I tried the sheet experiment again. It didn't leak. This bottle is 9 months old and still hasn't leaked.

I also liked how these bottles were wide and took similar nipples as the disposable bottles from Playtex, which makes switching back and forth from the Playtex disposable and reusable bottles much easier and causes less nipple confusion.
