easy ride We bought the Spider to use it for a couple of months after our son grew out of his car seat but was not yet ready for the Zapp. And I love it! We still use it daily!
It's easy to push (almost as eazy as the Zapp), and it looks very cute. It can be folded with one hand (I hold the baby in the other hand - and he's quite heavy, 10kg), and then I can easily carry it up one flat of stairs - it has a carrying handle (unlike the Zapp). My only complaint is that once folded, if you recline in on the wall it unfolds a little. There is a velcro strap that can be used to block it however it's not do-able with one hand. I hope they'll come up with a better locking system.
The basket underneath is perfect for a bottle, a sandwich, a toy, some napkins etc. (it's not a shopping basket).
I like the telescopic handle bar.
The canopy works like a regular stroller canopy - if the sun is above or behind it blocks it, but if it's slightly in the front you will need a parasol.
Overall very comfy for the city, and I think my son likes it too.
great shirt I bought this shirt for my 6 yr. old son who is outside everyday in the AZ summertime. It has worked great, and we will even be able to use it next year! It is definitely more cost-effective than sunscreen, and probably safer too!
Protect your investment! Okay, I've written a bunch of reviews for other Rover Gear products, but I feel I have to...we wasted so much money on other products and I have to spread the word! We were so tired of having our car seats come back to us in poor condition after flights. Up until the age of 3 we brought our car seat with us on the plane, we still used a cover to get it through the airport, but after a fiasco with one I was so frustrated! (Long story short, after we arrived at our lay over destination, I was trying to fit the car seat back into the bag and wasn't able to. I had to ask 2 flight attendants to help me and I just gave up. I was the last one off the plane and almost missed my connection [a lot of fun running through 3 terminals at DFW carrying a 2 year old and a car seat ] Anyway, we put up with mediocre products and when we saw this one we hoped it would be better. Wow! It was, no more tears, no more forcing the car seat into the bag, just voila it's done and with the added piece of mind that you know you'll get your car seat back in the original condition that you checked it. Don't bother on the flimsy products out their. This brand is in a league of it's own!
Hold the straw I love that you can put the very squeezable juice boxes into a holder that isn't but the Stupid straw can still be pulled out and it always is.
LOVE OUR PODS! We bought two Peapod Plus travel beds in June (one red and one pink). We LOVE them. We were so tired of carting around two packnplays for our 12-month old twins. I put these in the twins' cribs for one week prior to using them for travel in order to acclimate them to sleeping in a different environment. My son fussed for the first two times, and my daughter loved her pod right away. They slept great in them. They quickly adjusted to using them on the floor, too.
I removed the sleeping bag to save for when they are older because it is very bulky, and I believe it could be a suffocation hazard for babies/toddlers. Right now, I put a crib sheet on the mattress (fits perfectly) and stick the mattress inside the tent rather than in the zippered mattress pocket. I found these very easy to fold ( I had to look at the directions the first few times) so I don't understand all the complaints. Great product!
***NOTE*** the pink version is very cute and pretty, but I wish that I had ordered two red/blue ones. The red/blue peapod is much darker inside and better for encouraging sleeping! ; )
